Andrea Trisdale is an Austin realtor at Urban Squared Realty, where she works with clients buying, selling, and leasing properties.
She enjoys her work but her true calling is in the Arts. "I'm an artist-painter who finds beauty wherever I can, and expresses that on canvas," she says. She has produced many original works of art, some of them commissioned. Her favorite medium is acrylic paint on canvas. She operates her own small company called Art By Ande, and makes her work available via the Internet (http://www.artbyande.com).
Andrea Trisdale is also a regular blood donor, and encourages others to take part in blood donation. She is a registered bone marrow donor, too, and a supporter of Be The Match, an organization that connects patients with bone marrow donors. As she knows, bone marrow transplants help thousands of people survive serious illnesses like leukemia and aplastic anemia every year. Be The Match provides one-on-one support to those patients who need it the most.
Andrea Trisdale entered a painting into the "Be The Match" Community Artwork contest in 2014. The painting, which she called "Be The Hope. Be The Life. Be The Match," is a 16 x 20 inch wrapped canvas that she painted in August of 2014. It was selected as one of the contest's winning pieces.
"I love to laugh," Andrea Trisdale says. "And I want to do my part to make this world a more beautiful place."
